Hear No Evil - Chapter 20

Twenty minutes later, Jack was opening his front door and showing Sue inside. He gently put his hands on her shoulders and slid her coat from her body. Placing it on a nearby chair with his own, she slowly turned her to face him and gently touched his lips to hers. This wasn’t their first kiss but somehow, it felt like it was. He didn’t want to push her further than she was willing to go. He pulled away and smiled.

“I have wanted to do that all night.” Jack said as he gently caressed her cheek.
“So why did you stop?”

She smiled mischievously at him and trailed her fingers up his arm to rest on his shoulder. She took a step closer to him and brushed her lips against his. She had meant it to be a small kiss in return for the one he had just given her, but she was beginning to think that she and Jack would never be able to have just a small kiss.

As soon as her lips touched his, the electricity flew through the air. His arms locked round her waist, pulling her body flush with his. Her hand that had rested on his shoulder went round his neck and her other one pressed into his firm chest to steady herself. She could feel his heart pounding through the fabric of his shirt. Her heartbeat matched his and she felt him seek permission to enter, permission she gladly granted.

She tasted hot and sweet and Jack couldn’t get enough of her. His hands trailed restless up and down her back and stopped at her waist. He felt her shiver under his touch and then relax into him.

The hand that rested on Jack’s chest was getting restless. She slowly slid it down his chest and to his stomach. She felt his muscles tighten under her touch and smiled into the kiss, pleased that her touch could make him react that way. She moved her hand round to rest on his waist and smiled again when she felt him shudder as she found a particularly sensitive spot just under his ribcage. Releasing her, he caught her hands and pulled her to him, leaning back slightly so that she could read him.

“How about we get to that movie before I forget why we came back here.” Jack said as he smiled, trying to catch his breath.
“I think that is a good idea.” She replied, as she returned his smile.

Five minutes later, Sue and Jack and decided on a movie that had just enough action in it for Jack and just enough romance for Sue. Jack had silently thanked his sister for forgetting to take back her DVD’s when she had stayed over a few months ago. He wasn’t a big fan of Kevin Costner but he knew his sister was and his portrayal of Robin Hood wasn’t all that bad. Plus, if it made Sue happy then he was happy.

Jack adjusted his TV so that the Closed Captions were switched on and sat down on the couch. Sue came to sit next to him and snuggled into his side as the movie started. He sighed deeply as he glanced down and watched her. Her blond hair was highlighted by the dark colour of his shirt and he saw as her fingers absently played with one of the buttons on his shirt. She was engrossed by the film and hadn’t even realised what she was doing, what she was doing to him.

He could feel her light touch through the thin fabric of the shirt and it was all he could do to not grab her hand and pulled her back up to his lips. He felt his body begin to shiver and hoped that she couldn’t feel it too. He knew that she had when she looked up at him.

“Are you cold Jack? You’re shaking.” Sue asked with a concerned look on her face.
“No I’m fine. I’m just not used to having you so close that’s all. It’s nice.” He said as he smiled down at her.
“Yes it is.”

With that she snuggled back into his chest and let her hand rest on his firm stomach. He turned his attention to the film and tried his hardest to watch what has happening but his thought’s kept shifting back to the woman in his arms. If he didn’t get a grip he was slowly going to torture himself. He promised himself that after he had taken her home, he would have a shower, a long, cold shower.”
